How to Install Elementor on WordPress

Creating a stunning and functional website has become easier than ever, thanks to tools like Elementor. Elementor is a popular WordPress plugin that empowers beginners to design and customize websites without any coding knowledge. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the simple steps of how to install Elementor on your WordPress site. Step 1: Log into Your WordPress Dashboard

To begin, log in to your WordPress dashboard. This is where you manage your website’s content, plugins, and overall appearance. Use your admin credentials to access the dashboard.

Step 2 (optional): Install the Hello Theme

Locate the “customize” tab on the left-side menu of your dashboard, and click on “Themes”. Once there click “add new” and search for “hello”. Install the “Hello Elementor” theme. 

Step 3: Navigate to the Plugins Section

Next, locate the “Plugins” tab on the left-hand side of the dashboard. When you hover over it, a submenu will appear. Click on the “Add New” option from the submenu. This will take you to the plugin installation page.

Step 4: Search for Elementor

On the plugin installation page, you’ll see a search bar in the upper right corner. Type in “Elementor” and hit the “Enter” key. The search results will display the Elementor plugin as well as some related plugins. Look for the one named “Elementor Page Builder” and click on the “Install Now” button next to it.

Step 5: Activate the Plugin

After the installation is complete, the “Install Now” button will change to “Activate.” Click on the “Activate” button to make Elementor live on your WordPress site. Once activated, you’ll be directed to the Elementor welcome page.

Step 6: Explore Elementor’s Features

Now that Elementor is successfully installed and activated, you can start using its powerful features to design your website. You can create new pages, customize existing ones, and add various elements like text, images, videos, and buttons using a simple drag-and-drop interface.

We recommend starting with setting up your default site settings, like your default fonts, colors and button styles. This will ensure style consistency across you website.
